Most objects Frequently swallowed by Baby

Have your baby chew soil found in the front yard or chewing on the curtains? When not teaching him to play whistle, you should keep an eye on anything that went into the baby's mouth.

In the early stage of development, the baby likes to put something into their mouths. In psychoanalytic theory initiated by Sigmund Freud, this stage is called an oral phase.

At this stage generally lasts until the age of 1-2 years, babies get satisfaction through their mouths. Starting from the breast, nipple biting, swallowing food, to chew anything they hold.

Maybe it's fair if you enter a pen or finger mouths are their own, as long as these objects are clean. Yet not infrequently they insert strange objects, so it is better if you really watched.

The following are 4 kinds of strange objects that attract the attention of the baby brothers to put in their mouths, quoted from Parenting, Monday (19/4/2010).

1. Crayon
In the crayons, the colors are the most exciting things for the baby. Noteworthy is the existing content, make sure that is not toxic. Generally crayons for the children did not contain toxic materials, so if swallowed will probably only give a little 'color' on baby's stools.

2. Paper
You may be annoyed if the chewing is a favorite novel or the latest newspaper headlines have not had time to read it. But do not panic, which swallowed the paper generally does not interfere with digestion. As long as they are not excessive and other dirt contamination, the paper can be considered as additional fiber.

3. Pup (own feces)
"Obviously this is very disgusting, but not too worrying." said Louis Borgenicht, MD, author of The Baby Owner's Manual. According to him, would be more dangerous if the droppings are entered into the eye, because it can cause pink-eye (conjunctivitis or redness accompanied by swelling of the membrane
eye).

4. Coin
Coins or loose bolts that could attract the attention of toy babies. Certain metals if not soiled by lubricants may not be poisonous, but very harmful if swallowed up. Immediately contact your doctor to get proper treatment.
