Baby with HIV can now be cured
How it works almost like a baby's first immunization received after birth, is to deliver the drug about 30 hours after she was born.
It has been practiced on a baby girl who was born in a rural hospital in Mississippi. It is known that the baby has made treatment of the drug since he was born and for 10 months recorded there is no signs of the virus.
As we quoted from www.jacksonville.com, until this news was released, the baby is known now 2.5 years old and still in a state free from HIV. But for the sake of security and continuity research, until now baby and his parents are still anonymous.
As we know that the number of HIV-infected infants in the United States and Europe are very high. And the cause is an average derived from his parents. Therefore, the present invention will be crucial to the development of medical and drug discovery for the virus.
